The idea of a Book Festival for children and young people in Lund was born 2005. The aim is to put a focus on children and youth literature, and to connect different art forms - such as theatre, music, dance and film.
LitteraLund - Book Festival for children and young people
LitteraLund is an event that takes place every year. The festival is filled with an exciting and varied program where the focus is on the book, but where there's also room for other art forms. The aim is to stimulate the curiosity for books, and to encourage reading, writing and other creative activities.
- The LitteraLund Conference. Seminars for adults who work with children and youth literature; teachers, librarians, pedagogues, and others in the business. The seminars offer different perspectives, dimensions and entrances to children's literature (the program takes place Thursday-Friday)
- The School Program. Authors, readings and workshops for school children between the ages of 4-18 (the program takes place Monday-Friday)
- The Public Program for Young People (takes place Thursday & Friday)
